Certified Sand Play Therapist

Kim is a fully licensed LPC therapist.  Her specialty is children under 10.  She is also a certified Sand Play Therapist.  She utilizes treatment modalities such as: CBT, Play Therapy and Mindfulness.

Kim has over 20 years of experience working with children, adults and families. She has worked in a variety of settings including: domestic violence settings, school settings and outpatient programs for children.

She specializes in anxiety and depression, family stressors, trauma, self-regulation, grief, ADHD, and self-esteem.  Her primary focus is Sand Play Therapy as it provides a calm and safe environment for children to freely express themselves and process their thoughts and emotions.  Children heal through play and self-expression.  Kim welcomes the opportunity to help children express themselves and begin to learn and heal.
