Mallory LaCorte, LPC
I approach therapy by starting with an initial evaluation to understand my client's unique goals. From there, we collaborate to develop a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. With years of experience working in both hospital and agency settings before transitioning to private practice, I have developed expertise in both group and individual therapy.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, addiction, life stressors, and relationship/family issues.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions, integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques as needed, to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. I work with adults across all stages of life, including the geriatric population, offering personalized care to meet their unique needs.
