Scott Silvester, LAC

Scott is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey and is currently working towards his hours for Licensed Professional Counselor. He received his master’s degree from Rider University in Clinical Mental Health in 2024. Scott has experience working with clients in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and addiction. He enjoys using aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Scott works primarily with clients 18+ and is looking forward to working with couples. Scott believes in an approach that incorporates all aspects of the human, including not just thoughts and feelings, but also the physical body when appropriate. Scott is a certified yoga instructor, a certified personal trainer, a black belt in karate, and an award-winning
screenwriter.
