Watching your teenager struggle can be heartbreaking and frustrating. However, you are not alone. Comprehensive Counseling Center will be offering a social skills group to aid teens in their interpersonal relationships. Some of the skills include:
- Learning to navigate social situations successfully
- Being able to effectively communicate with others
- Improving Self Esteem
- Having empathy towards peers
- Active listening skills
- Creating and maintaining relationships with others
We offer hands-on strategies, shed light on different treatments, and provide a supportive atmosphere where these adolescents will be able to express themselves and relate to others in a safe environment.
The group will be hosted by Stephanie McColl, LPC. The fee is $40 per group. The group will begin spring 2023, spots are limited.
