Joseph Sirote, MSW, LCSW
Joseph is a licensed clinical social worker who received his Master’s degree from Fordham University. He has been counseling individuals, families, and groups for the past 17 years and specializes in working with adults who are struggling with relationships and life transitions. In the past, Joseph has also worked with adolescents and young adults at the Rutgers University chaplaincy, and while leading numerous therapeutic wilderness survival programs throughout the tri-state area. Additionally, he has spent many years on staff at the Arms Acres treatment center and the SAFE Foundation rehabilitation clinic, working with individuals and family members of individuals whom are struggling with the process of addiction and recovery.Joseph’s approach to the therapeutic process is solution-focused yet psychodynamic – working with you to identify and refine your skills to deal with the current challenges, yet encouraging you to navigate and discover the underlying reasons and potential causes of the issues at hand. His warm, caring, and nonjudgmental approach helps guide you through the process of self-awareness and positive change.
