Denise K. Mayer, LCSW
Denise K. Mayer is an LCSW who earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgian Court University in 2009, and graduated with her MSW degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2017. She has experience working in an adult outpatient mental health setting, and prior had worked at a leading agency in mental health. Denise‘s counseling areas include: anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, mood disorders, OCD, ADHD, self-esteem, bullying, women’s issues and young adult transition issues. Her client age range focus being adults between the ages of 18-40. She uses clinical interventions such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy, Mindfulness, Strengths Based Therapy and Psychodynamic therapy; while engaging with clients one on one in a warm, empathetic, nonjudgmental manner. Denise’s focus on young adult issues has been successful with helping those discover who they are and what goals they want to achieve as they transition from youth to functioning adults.
